The Senior ServiceNow Developer role will focus on continuous improvements, automation, and strategic development within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional IT service experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Guide junior and service partner developers through mentorship and code reviews, while establishing and enforcing development best practices
  • Design scalable, enterprise-aligned ServiceNow solutions that support long-term IT and business objectives
  • Develop and configure applications across ITSM, ITBM, GRC, and SecOps; build complex integrations and orchestration workflows using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST APIs
  • Partner with business, security, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated, user-centric solutions
  • Lead full project lifecycles from design to deployment, ensuring alignment with change management and compliance standards
  • Create solution design documents, perform data analysis, and ensure alignment with business goals and user scenarios
  • Serve as the technical lead on high-impact initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery, risk mitigation, and adherence to change control processes
  • Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and industry trends to recommend platform enhancements and influence the long-term roadmap in alignment with enterprise architecture

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science, Information Systems discipline preferred; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, with deep expertise in core modules, REST APIs, and complex integrations
  • Proven track record of delivering solutions using Agile SCRUM methodologies and iterative development practices
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with working knowledge of JQuery, HTML, and CSS for UI customization and scripting
  • ServiceNow certifications required: System Administrator and Implementation Specialist; additional certifications (e.g., Application Developer, ITSM, or GRC) are a plus
  • Solid understanding of the ITIL framework and its application in enterprise environments (ITIL v3 or v4 certification required)

 

The range of starting base pay for this role is 94K – 140K.  Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
