This Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for maintaining and repairing the fixtures, cables, and assembly aids used in the manufacturing and test of Solta Medical products. Additionally, performs a variety of tasks associated with product line support and assists Manufacturing and Test Engineering with process development, qualification, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Calibration / Preventive Maintenance system
- Coordinate the calibration of traceable equipment
- Affect repair or replacement of out of specification or broken equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment as required
- Perform troubleshooting and repair activities on manufacturing and test equipment, as required
- Support Operations Engineering
- Build fixtures, assembly aids, and workstations to be used in production for the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of product
- Qualification of fixtures, assembly aids, and workstations
- Assist Manufacturing and Test Engineering in proof-of-concept activities
- Performs administrative functions within the calibration system
- Creation of preventive maintenance forms
- Manages timeliness of calibration, PM, and suppliers
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required Engineering Science discipline preferred
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a production test environment
- Experience in medical device manufacturing and/or other regulated industries such as aerospace
- Background in ultrasonic products, lasers, RF, and embedded systems preferred
- Mechanical and/or electrical design experience preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts preferred
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- A self-motivated and meticulous individual, able to work in a team and small company environment
- Working knowledge of both analog and digital circuit designs and troubleshooting skills with at the component level
- Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electromechanical equipment
- Hands-on experience with: electronic test equipment, machine shop tools and equipment, fabrication, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of production test and process equipment

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay is $24 to $37 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential for second shift only.
