The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse personnel, managing workflow, and ensuring the effective utilization of equipment, materials, and labor resources in the warehouse areas.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Primarily responsible for overseeing the product flow, addressing technical issues, and managing employee relations within the warehouse areas.
• Meets shipping deadlines, both domestic and international.
• Recommends and implements measures to enhance accuracy and quality in accordance with company guidelines.
• Interprets company policies with precision and ensures the enforcement of safety regulations.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the DC matrix recording of key metrics.
• Creates staffing and training plans based on projected workloads.
• Conducts periodic employee assessments and evaluations.
• Oversee warehouse staff involved in the handling of medical device products and raw materials.
• Ensure warehouse follows established quality standards and manufacturing SOPs.
• Oversee the warehouse process and ensure the efficient use of equipment, materials, and human resources.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to address and resolve inspection and quality issues.
• Oversee and report on area safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with hiring and training employees.
• Address and report employee issues. Track attendance and performance. Collaborate with HR and senior management for disciplinary actions.
• Work on and facilitate projects aimed at continuous improvement.
• Be the SME on all ERP and shipping systems utilized in the warehouse.
• Collaborate extensively with support departments such as Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, Service Depot, and Research & Development Engineering.
Level of Supervision Required
• Work effectively with minimal supervision in team and individual situations.
• Takes direction from Distribution Manager
Experience, Education, Training, Traits:
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of warehouse experience. Preferably in medical device environment
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Capable of learning and adapting to new software applications such as MS Project, Visio, ERP systems, and others as required.
• Proficient in interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills; possesses strong analytical capabilities.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities
• Preferred: supervisory training.
• Lean and Six Sigma (Greenbelt/Blackbelt) training a plus.
Language and Verbal Skills
The ability to communicate proficiently in English verbally and in writing is required as well as being able to understand and follow work instructions in writing or when conveyed verbally.
Math Skills
Basic math skills, plus ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Analytical and Reading Skills
Ability to read, interpret and follow company procedures, work instructions and analyzed key metrics for improvements.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform light material handling tasks involving lifting weights of up to 35 pounds for short durations. Duties also may involve keyboard data entry.
Work Environment
Most work will be performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

The range of starting base pay for this role is $62,029K-$85,250K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
