The Credit Administrator is a key member of the Finance team and plays a vital role in optimizing the return goods process. This position is responsible for gathering key information to support, analyze and validate claims for customer returns. This position interacts cross functionally with accounts receivable, customer service, sales, contracts and pricing and IT. This role will also communicate directly with a third-party destruction company and is customer facing. The position is expected to ensure that credits are processed promptly and accurately, to reduce deductions, and that the appropriate documentation is provided for credit approval or denial.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process customer claims for issuance of return related credits
- Understanding customer contract terms and pricing conditions related to return authorization policies and procedures
- Minimize return deductions by proactively addressing system issues which may impact the timely processing of returns
- Provide periodic and Ad Hoc reporting as required
- Work collaboratively and cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships
- Effectively identify and communicate issues to proactively address customer facing issues and resolve disputes
- Follow up with customer requests and concerns regarding credits for returns
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
- 2 years of work experience with knowledge of basic accounting
- Strong excel skills including proficiency in v-lookup and pivot tables
- Must possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and reconciliation aptitude
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior Pharmaceutical or manufacturer industry experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with an initiative-taking approach to error prevention and correction

The range of starting base pay for this role is $22.00 - $31.00 per hour. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
