Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
Note: The following responsibilities are meant to be representative but not necessarily all inclusive of the duties and responsibilities for this position title.
- Responsible for lead generation and supporting sales to both prospects and existing customer base.
- Communicating any new product leads to responsible Sales Representative.
- Maintain detailed pipeline of prospects for achieving monthly and quarterly lead generation goals.
- Identifying any opportunities or issues at the customer site that require escalation or reporting (such as a product complaint) and ensuring correct team/departments are notified.
- Coordinate and work closely with other teams and departments.
- Maintain Salesforce.com documentation of all leads, contacts and pipeline updates.
- Reports on activities in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Acquire technical knowledge to effectively promote and sell products and answer questions typically generated by customers and prospects; trade shows, direct mail, publications, Web and press releases leads.
- Stays up to date on and follows all procedures related to this job which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
- Identify and execute continuous process improvement objectives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inside sales processes.
- Demonstrates strong communication, probing and questioning skills. Exemplifies data gathering, organizational, and dissemination of information in a consistent and timely manner.
- Perform special functions/projects as directed by U.S. Director of Sales.
Experience Education Training Skills Traits:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- Three years office based experience in a customer support role, preferably with a medical device company with capital and consumable equipment.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with field sales staff, product managers, potential and current customers.
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently and troubleshoot as needed.
- Must be computer literate. Effective use of MS Office and customer database such as Salesforce.com.
- Strong team and organizational skills.
Language Skills:
Individual must be fluent in the English language as the position will support Customers where English is their primary language. They must also have good verbal skills and must demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and professionally in all modes of communication, including written/electronic.
Math Skills:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Analytical and Reading Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and assist in the creation and refinement of company procedures. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to perform lifting tasks of up to 10 pounds for short durations. Duties of this job may involve standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Duties also involve daily keyboard data entry. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Work Environment:
Most work will be performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $65K to $85K per year.
