Project Manager Operations
Overview & Responsibilities: This person is responsible the effective management (organization, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and evaluation) for new product launches and maintenance of business projects for Bausch Pharma portfolio of products. This position will focus on commercialization /manufacturing and life-cycle management.
- In concert with the Core Team, the Project Manager will develop and manage the cross-functional integrated project plan, ensuring milestones and goals are met.
- Responsible for the entire project life cycle; project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
- Lead planning activities to develop robust project plans including resources requirements
- This person will be expected to manage and provide guidance to project team
- Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks, and timely communication to senior leadership
- Receives direction from Sr Project Manager/Director
- The Project Manager will develop and maintain the project Gantt chart, milestones and track budgets for the projects.
- Conduct team meetings with internal and external stakeholders; develop agenda, meeting minutes, and action items for team members.
- Requires 3 days onsite per week in our Bridgewater, NJ office.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Business discipline and 3- 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing environment or equivalent is required.
- An Advanced Degree, MS, MBA, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred .
- Combined with either/or experience above a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management.
- Experience managing small scale projects or sub team in larger project in R&D or Manufacturing
- Knowledge of applicable local quality and regulatory standards requirements for pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in the application of project management software (e.g. MS Project) and in the use of the project/portfolio management systems required
- Demonstrated leadership skills in collaborating and influencing cross-functionally
- Critical thinking/critical thinking skills
- Strong planning and execution skill.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
