Reporting to the Sales Training Manager this person will be accountable for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans, programs and processes to support Solta business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing, sales, and operations to identify training needs and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance gaps and develop training initiatives to drive results.
- Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered.
- Plan, organize and facilitate quarterly Solta new hire training.
- Responsible for coaching, developing and utilizing the field sales trainers in onboarding new hires and in new hire training programs.
- Co-travel with new and current sales personnel to assess, coach and develop their level of product knowledge and skills related.
- Implement and facilitate training workshops as required for National Sales Meetings and other meetings that may be necessary as determined by the commercial teams.
- Identify, design, create and facilitate effective content that improves the desired competency level of sales management.
- Maintain updated and current training materials including self-study guides, classroom materials, and assessments.
- Become product expert on and competitive products.
- Work with Solta’s peer review committee to prepare training materials for compliant distribution.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years in industry experience.
- Preferably 1 year or more with Bausch Health Care
- Previous training (field of corporate) experience is preferred.
- A willingness to approach projects/initiatives with a sense of urgency.
- Strong verbal, listening, written communications and facilitation skills required.
- Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed.
- Ability to serve as a role model/mentor/coach to new and tenured representatives.
- Up to 50% field time as training initiatives demand.
- Demonstration of sustained, high performance in current position.
- Geographic location, field based.
The range of starting base pay for this role is $90K-$130K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
