We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to manage and optimize our cloud platforms (Azure, Aws, Allibaba, Etc.) cloud environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing cloud services including Azure & AWS workloads, Azure DevOps pipelines, and integration points within the cloud platform services, while ensuring stability, security, and cost efficiency. The position will also manage the relationship with our infrastructure Managed Service Provider (MSP), driving operational excellence, best practices, and close collaboration with the business. Experience in Dyanmics 365 will be considered a plus to support integration and operational alignment across Microsoft power platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management
- Manage Azure, AWS, etc. cloud workloads, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
- Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, AWS services, CI/CD processes, and strategic/environment governance on a global scale.
- Integrate Azure/AWS workloads and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor and optimize platform costs, leveraging automation where possible.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cloud architecture initiatives, ensuring timely delivery across cross-functional teams by managing Managed Service Provider teams which includes task assignments, managing dependencies and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Maintain and manage cloud-native solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms using best practices.
- Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security, and cost management frameworks using tools like Azure Cost Management, RBAC, and key vaults.
- Support and coordinate integrations between Azure and Dynamics 365 environments.
- Oversee DR and backup implementations including Azure Site Recovery and support isolated environments for testing and compliance.
MSP Oversight & Stabilization
- Act as primary liaison for MSP-delivered Azure and DevOps services.
- Ensure MSP meets SLAs, delivers quality service, and follows established governance policies.
- Lead stabilization initiatives to reduce incidents and improve service reliability.
Best Practices & Governance
- Implement and maintain governance policies for resource naming, tagging, access controls, and cost management.
- Standardize deployment and operational processes to align with industry best practices.
- Maintain compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.
Business Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders to align cloud services with operational and strategic needs.
- Collaborate with D365 teams to ensure smooth operation and integration with cloud services.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide regular updates on service performance, costs, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). 8+ years in IT Operations.
- Strong experience with automation tools.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
- Proven track record of working with MSPs in a cloud environment.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud integration is a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (a plus)
- ITIL Foundation
The range of starting base pay for this role is 147K - 203K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
