The Sr. Manager, Field Reimbursement and Market Access Training & Development, is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative and interactive market access training solutions across Bauch Health businesses that tangibly improve the effectiveness of the Field Reimbursement Teams, National & Regional Account Executives, and our field sales teams. This candidate will collaborate with various Market Access functional leaders, Brand Sales Training & Development Leads, and external vendor Subject Matter Expert’s in the implementation of learning solutions. This individual will report directly to the Executive Director of SalesForce Excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Champion the identification of training needs by developing consultative relationships with the Market Access leadership team, field sales leadership, Field Reimbursement team and key commercial business partners 
  • Partner with the market access, field reimbursement, marketing and sales teams to create an overarching training strategy to embed a culture of excellence in “market access push through.”
  • Develop, implement and facilitate multi-phased training approach for Commercial, Market Access and Field Reimbursement new hires
  • Develop, implement and facilitate training content including workshops as required for all Sales meetings to support Commercial, Market Access and Field Reimbursement teams
  • Co-travel with new and current Field Reimbursement Managers to assess, coach and develop their level of knowledge and skills
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training support to the Field Reimbursement and National/Regional Account Executives
  • Identify, design, create and facilitate effective content that improves the desired competency level of all National/Regional Account Executives and Field Reimbursement Managers
  • Conduct analyses to identify gaps and recommend solutions that meet the business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and through the medical/legal/regulatory review process (e.g., legal/compliance, regulatory, sales, marketing) in the development of training materials that reflect the needs of the evolving business.
  • Ensure curriculum is designed to accommodate progressive learning from developing to advanced level competency demonstration.

 

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: MBA (or other advanced degree) preferred
  • 7+ of professional experience

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical managed markets/managed care experience/Field Reimbursement
  • 3+ years sales leadership or direct report responsibilities 
  • 2+ years in a training position or experience working on training projects 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning concepts and current training techniques
  • Experience developing and delivering market access training 
  • Significant experience working with cross-functional groups such as: Market Access, Training, Marketing and Sales
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of execution and results
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, foster collaborative environment, negotiate and influence
  • This position will require travel as appropriate to meet the needs of the business
  • Geographic location, Hybrid or Remote

 

The range of starting base pay for this role is 150K – 206K.  Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
