The Vice President, Global Finance Operations and Controls will report tohte Chief Accounting Officer and serves as a key enterprise leader responsible for driving the company’s Executive Directorship agenda across all regions establishing consistent governance, policy, process, and control frameworks that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
This role partners closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, Regional Controllers, and Business Finance CFOs to align finance operations, reporting processes, and controls with enterprise standards. The VP also leads the financial operations of the European (Irish) legal entity, which manages the company’s intellectual property and global intercompany transactions.
In addition to managing the company’s internal control environment, this leader will champion finance transformation initiatives, process optimization, and automation to strengthen scalability and resilience across the global finance organization.
Executive Directorship & Governance
- Establish and lead a unified Executive Directorship framework covering U.S., Canada, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
- Drive standardization of accounting policies, close processes, and reporting controls across all regions.
- Partner with Technical Accounting on complex judgments while owning and maintaining global finance process and policy governance.
- Oversee the design and effectiveness of SOX and internal control frameworks, working with Internal Audit and regional teams.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.
Finance Transformation & Process Excellence
- Lead global finance transformation initiatives focused on simplification, standardization, and automation.
- Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams on ERP design, optimization, and enablement (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle).
- Drive continuous improvement in close, reporting, and reconciliation processes to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Sponsor cross-regional working groups to share best practices and ensure adoption of global standards.
Finance Operations – European (Irish) Legal Entity
- Oversee accounting, reporting, and internal control environment for the Irish IP-holding entity managing intercompany and third-party transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Irish statutory requirements and alignment with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury, and Legal on IP-related, intercompany, and transfer pricing arrangements.
- Manage intercompany accounting and settlement processes across global affiliates.
Business Partnership & Collaboration
- Partner with each Business Finance CFO and FP&A Lead to align financial operations and controllership with business performance management needs.
- Build trusted relationships across functions to ensure that financial processes support decision-making and accountability.
- Act as a bridge between operational finance and corporate accounting to maintain integrity from transaction to consolidation.
Policy & Process Governance
- Own and maintain global finance policies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent application across all entities and regions.
- Drive adoption of enterprise-level governance for close, reconciliations, and account ownership.
- Lead master data, chart of accounts, and financial systems alignment to support consistent reporting and control standards.
Leadership, Change Management & Communication
- Lead through influence to drive alignment across regional and functional teams.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for regional and Executive Directorship teams.
- Act as a visible champion for finance modernization and change management initiatives.
Performance & Control Metrics
- Develop and maintain KPIs to measure global close performance, control effectiveness, and process efficiency.
- Create dashboards and governance routines for CAO and CFO review.
- Monitor progress against transformation and standardization milestones.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required preferably in Finance or Accounting along with a CPA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Executive Directorship, accounting operations, or finance transformation.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and multinational statutory reporting frameworks.
- Proven experience leading global internal control programs and SOX compliance.
- Demonstrated success implementing or optimizing ERP and financial systems (SAP, D365, Oracle).
- Experience working with shared service centers or BPO partners in a complex multinational environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with proven ability to influence across cultures and functions.
- Hands-on, process-oriented mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
Travel/Location
- Moderate (20 - 30%), based on transformation, audit, or cross-regional initiatives.
- Location: ability to work in Bridgewater NJ preferred/ Remote (U.S.) – flexibility across time zones (U.S., EMEA, LATAM, APAC); travel as required based on activity

The range of starting base pay for this role is 295K - 360K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
