Report to:  Regional Finance Director

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Participate in month and quarter end close activities – review of Balance Sheet, P&L, journal adjustments etc.

·     Act as the inhouse Finance contact point for GL, AP and AR matters

·     Liaison and communication with an outsourced Finance services provider relating to accounting transactions and reporting requirements.

·     Responsible for local audited financial statements and tax filing

·     Assist with preparation of yearly budget, quarterly forecast, quarterly business review, weekly LE.

·     Provide variance analysis of the financial results in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to regular sales report, ASP, Margin and department expenses.

·     Provide Financial supports to the Regional Finance team as and when required

·     Partner closely with the management team on ad-hoc requests such as providing business performance reports

·     Other responsibilities include expenses monitoring (Advertising and Promotion expense tracking, Travel & Entertainment review, accruals etc.)

·     Annual key exercise on Standard costs updates and review on inventory revaluation

·     Handle ad-hoc assignments

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

·     Possess a Bacheloer Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

·     At least 7 years of Financial Planning & Accounting experience (Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred)

·     Proficiency in written and spoken in English

·     Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills

·     Ability to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines

·     Meticulous, detail oriented and proactive

·     Good computer literacy in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word

·     Working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial System and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP application) will be an advantage
