Provides technical support and IT systems management to ensure efficient operations across the China region. Utilizes onsite and remote communication technologies to support users and infrastructure. Works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions. Reports to the regional IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced Windows desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, OS upgrades, and peripheral configurations.
- Support Cisco network devices (routers, switches) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage mobile devices (iOS/Android) and enforce security policies for remote access.
- Implement and monitor IT security measures including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
- Act as a liaison between teams to gather requirements, document processes, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies (e.g., Office 365 features).
- Lead or support projects such as system migrations, hardware deployments, and cloud integrations.
- Provide remote assistance via tools like Splashtop/SOS and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform onsite support for critical infrastructure setups and complex network configurations.
- Document IT-related procedures and processes to improve overall team knowledge.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers as needed.
- Respond to incoming support requests and provide timely resolution and communication.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper handling and storage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in IT support or analysis roles.
- Strong technical skills in Windows OS, Office 365, Cisco networking, and mobile device management.
- Experience with remote support tools and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with diverse teams and vendors professionally.
- Cultural sensitivity to navigate regional differences in work styles and expectations.
- Business fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Customer service focused with strong problem-solving skills.
