Job Description


Position Title: Operator, Arestin Production UnitSupervisor: Supervisor, Arestin Production Unit


Purpose of the positionUnder the direction of his manager, the incumbent performs filling and packaging operations for the Arestin Production Unit based on precise instructions in compliance with good manufacturing practices, procedures and instructions for security. The holder can occasionally perform the assembly and disassembly of the equipment during the various changes of batches. The incumbent will act as the team manager and replace the Arestin Unit Technician during his absence.


2. Main functionsEnsures daily that machines are in good working order and reports anomalies.
Involved in the continuous improvement of the department, equipment, procedures and teamwork sessions. Participate in the implementation of the recommendations generated.
Occasionally assembles and dismantles equipment during various batch changes planned according to established procedures.
Is the person in charge during the closing and opening of the lot, ensuring that all the annexes are completed.
Performs start, daily and end of production batch tests.
Complies with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety and Environment policies.
Perform any other related task at the request of his supervisor or technician.


3. Management responsibilityEnsures the management of the department during the absence of the Head of Unit Arestin or the technician of the unit.

5. Knowledge and skills required:a) Required training
Secondary minimum V or the equivalent, Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry or related field as an attendant or operator
b) Languages 
French required, english an asset
c) Special experience and knowledge
Ability to properly distinguish colors Manual dexterity Good sense of analysis
d) Specific technical skills
Knowledge of the metric system Basic understanding of mechanics
