Title: Quebec Health Partnership Manager
Reporting to: Senior Director, Sales and Marketing
Position Overview
We are seeking a Health Partnership Manager for the province of Quebec with deep expertise in the healthcare ecosystem to manage and optimize relationships with key stakeholders across the province. This role requires a keen understanding of the intricate workings of healthcare institutions, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare practitioners, and how they collaborate to enhance patient care and flow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying key players in the therapeutic space, understanding emerging trends, and developing strategies to support patient access and healthcare delivery across various healthcare systems and therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare System Understanding:
- Continue to deepen the understanding of the healthcare system, including the roles and responsibilities of healthcare practitioners, institutions (hospitals, clinics, etc.), pharmacies, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Gain insight into how healthcare practitioners and institutions work together, and how patient care flows within these systems.
- Understand the healthcare infrastructure and how different models of patient care (e.g., primary care, specialist care, multi-disciplinary teams) impact patient access and outcomes.
Mapping Therapeutic Spaces:
- Identify and analyze key players in therapeutic spaces, including institutions, clinics, pharmacies, and practitioners, while understanding patient needs and how the healthcare system supports them.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and healthcare policy changes that impact patient access to care.
Strategic Support for Key Accounts:
- Support patient flow and the collaboration between healthcare practitioners, institutions, and pharmacies, identifying opportunities to improve access to treatments and services.
- Evaluate the education and training needs of healthcare practitioners to enhance their ability to evaluate, treat, and improve patient access in the therapeutic space.
- Provide healthcare practitioners and institutions with the tools, resources, and tailored solutions to enhance patient care, practice management, patient evaluation, and education.
- Support emerging leaders in the therapeutic space by offering resources and partnerships to expand their practices and improve patient access to care.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
- Collaborate with market access, sales, marketing, and medical teams to align on patient access strategies, ensuring HCPs are equipped to provide optimal care.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on healthcare system dynamics, emerging trends, and performance metrics, while gathering feedback from HCPs and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving patient flow, access to treatment, and education.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience in key account management or healthcare management, with a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including institutions, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare practitioners.
- Familiarity with patient flow management, access optimization, multi-disciplinary collaboration, as well as healthcare regulations and payer systems.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking to navigate complex healthcare systems and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proven ability to build relationships and engage with key healthcare stakeholders, including professionals, payers, and policy makers.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and priorities.
- Expertise in market trends, digital health, and patient access, with excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and support healthcare professionals.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, business, or related fields (Master’s or equivalent considered an asset).
