Position reporting to the Director, Strategic Sales Operations

Position based at the Laval office, hydbrid program - 3 days at the office.

 

Position Summary:
Conduct sales performance and market analysis, evaluate, and interpret data trends, propose business cases, and financial justification to support the forecast and business development process.  Work with cross-functional teams and management to drive data-informed decisions and create presentations that capture key drivers related to commercial operations. 

 

Performance Deliverables/ Responsibilities:
•    Fluent working knowledge of IQVIA applications and databases (Imsight, Xponent, Compuscript, GPM, CD&H, Pharmastats, IMAM)
•    Provide understandable and actionable metrics for first line sales managers, product managers, and Directors •    Conduct Financial & Supply demand product forecast of the different BU for Budget, Forecast and Strategic Plan
•    Monitor performance and provide explanations to variances of the product portfolio
•    Answer Ad hoc requests from the commercial operation on market & competition
•    Support & validate various monthly reporting by running queries and upload, maintain instruction and participate in monthly business review with the respective BU portfolio products responsible
•    Maintenance of Market definition process and data validation before publication on reporting tool
•    Identify & manage market research projects in collaboration with brand manager by working on methodology, supplier selection, participating in the development of questionnaire and discussion guide 

 

Required Knowledge/Skills:
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to think strategically, work tactically, and drive results to logical end •    Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical Industry an advantage
•    Ability to manipulate data from IQVIA and other suppliers to produce meaningful analyses
•    Strong analytical skills to solve business problems and think independently. 
•    Ability to work independently, under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability
•    Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional design teams 
•    Strong ability to interact with team members at all levels of the company.
•    Have excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management skills. 
•    Bilingualism is a must (strong English and French oral, high proficiency in English and French written) Outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to uphold high quality control standards.
•    Ability to provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables.
•    Market research experience is an advantage

 

Technical skills:
•    Strong PC skills, especially Excel, Power Point and Power BI.
•    Experience with Forecast BI System

 

Desired Education:
•    B.A. / B.S. in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related area preferred
•    7 years + related work experience
