The successful candidate will have prior exposure to Investor Relations or the financial markets and thrive in an environment that values judgment, initiative, and attention to detail, be an effective communicator, financially astute, intellectually curious, and persistent to achieve the department’s and Company’s objectives. 

 

This role will be based in Bridgewater, NJ and requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with the CEO, CFO and other senior leaders to support the Company's participation in quarterly earnings calls, investment conferences, internal meetings, roadshows, analyst days and one-on-one meetings.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documents and presentation materials for quarterly earnings, conferences, roadshows, and other events.
  • Support the development and maintenance of effective relationships with research analysts, debt holders, and institutional investors.  
  • Conduct analysis and research in support of the earnings call process, including reviews of peer performance, operating results, and industry trends.
  • Oversee the analysis of Bausch Health’s sell-side analyst models compared to internal forecasts.
  • Coordinate with corporate communications, legal, marketing, and other departments on critical communication issues to ensure the Company delivers a consistent message and adheres to applicable SEC regulations on financial disclosures.
  • Contribute to the day‑to‑day execution of the IR function to ensure the IR department is responsive to internal and external constituents.  
  • Assist in the development and execution of investor targeting strategies that enhance our current investor base, attract new investors familiar with our sector, and expand outreach across other sectors, styles, and new geographies that may be relevant.
  • Remain current on changes in accounting, financial market regulations, and other topics important to the operations of Bausch Health.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance the Company’s investor relations section of the website.
  • Perform other IR-related projects as requested.

  • Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial statements, valuation, capital structure, accounting, return on investment, profitability measures and operating metrics.
  • Adaptability to ensure success in a fast-paced, evolving, business environment with less than complete instructions at times.
  • Experience working at companies with an excellent track record of performance and demonstrated leadership capability in working with senior executives.
  • Experience managing highly visible projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity, tenacity, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Approximately 6 years of experience in a corporate finance function, buy- or sell- side analyst, or investor relations role
  • Preferred healthcare industry experience such as in pharma, life sciences, biotech, medical devices, or healthcare services
  • Knowledge of FactSet, Bloomberg, and all Microsoft products
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus

 

The range of starting base pay for this role is 125K – 170K.  Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
