Position:               Manufacturing Operator - Pharma

Vacancies:            Total 4 (1 Sunrise, 3 Rotation)

Type:                     Term (24 months)

Department:         Production

SHIFT:                   Sunrise (Sun-Thu:  2330 – 0800)

SHIFT:                   Rotation (Mon-Fri: 2 weeks 0730 – 1600; 2 weeks 1530 – 0000)

 

Reporting to a Manufacturing Supervisor, you are responsible for the completion of all Manufacturing processes, accuracy of corresponding documentation, and strict adherence to established standard operating procedures.


Responsibilities

 

  • Manufacturing tablets and capsules, dispensing product, equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Ensure accuracy of corresponding documentation and strict adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring tools to carry out machine setups and adjustments. Training will be provided.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

 

Qualifications

 

Education - Completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.  Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Certificate preferred.

 

Knowledge/Experience - Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.  Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.

 

Competencies - Ability to meet physical demands such as twisting, lifting and bending.  Good English verbal, reading and writing skills with a proven ability to follow precise guidelines.  Basic mathematical & mechanical skills.  Self-motivated, positive attitude, attention to detail and a team player.  Shift work may be required.
