Field Reimbursement managers act as the subject matter experts in compliantly educating healthcare provider (HCP) staff on Customer Support Programs while addressing patient-specific reimbursement and access needs. The FRM builds and maintains professional relationships with key account contacts in an assigned geography. FRMs must work seamlessly and compliantly in coordination with all customer support services, specialty pharmacies, and other field teams while supporting patient access. Field Reimbursement Managers are seen as strong individual contributors displaying leadership skills contributing to business impact with peers and customers. FRMs specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Demonstrating working knowledge in commercial and government reimbursement/access, as well as deep payer market expertise in their geographic region
  • Compliantly communicating with internal stakeholders, specialty pharmacies, and customer support program personnel to navigate the patient access and reimbursement experience
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills related to complex patient access challenges across payers and specialty pharmacies
  • Educating HCP staff on prior authorization requirements, coverage status, and payer appeals requirements, processes and timelines
  • Training HCP staff on customer support programs for the supported portfolio
  • Improving the customer experience by condensing complex issues into simple solutions
  • Educating office staff regarding patient financial assistance and alternate funding options for the uninsured and underinsured.
  • Leveraging expertise and skills to improve competencies of peers

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum three years of work experience in any of the following areas:
    • Patient Navigation
    • Payer
    • Reimbursement
    • Specialty Pharmacy
    • Pharmaceutical Sales
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, andPower Point
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with customers via virtual meeting platforms
  • Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets

 

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $134-160k.
