Reporting to the Executive Director, SalesForce Excellence, and this person will be accountable for the development and implementation of training plans, programs and processes to support the OraPharma Business unit.

 

Position Description:

  • Collaborating closely with the National Sales Director of Commercial Accounts and Sr. Director of National Accounts. The individual will be responsible for a wide range of duties based on field needs in the commercial and corporate segments
  • Work collaboratively with sales management, marketing, and strategy to provide members of the commercial and corporate account organization with the education, training, and information needed to support the business requirements.
  • Develop, implement and facilitate training workshops as required for National Sales Meetings and other meetings that may be necessary as determined by the commercial teams.
  • Co-travel with new and current sales personnel to assess, coach and develop their level of product knowledge and skills related
  • Assist in creating a measurement strategy and sustainability process before and after programs/initiatives
  • Identify, design, create and facilitate effective content that improves the desired competency level of account managers
  • Responsible for coaching, developing and utilizing the field-based trainers in on-boarding new hires and in new hire training programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance gaps and develop training initiatives to drive results
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of the training services offered.
  • Plan, organize and facilitate new hire and ongoing training programs
  • Become product expert on assigned promoted and competitive products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years in industry as a sales professional and/or at least 2 years with Bausch Health
  • Former People leadership or Corporate Account leadership strongly preferred
  • Previous Sales Training experience, corporate and/or field-based is a plus.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a superior level of competency in product, disease, clinical and competitive knowledge as it relates to the OraPharma portfolio, preferably in both the commercial and corporate space
  • The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, follow-up and workload planning skills.
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” within a small team and wear multiple hats
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Candidate should have excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, self-directed and demonstrate the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal, listening, written communications and facilitation skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act decisively
  • Ability to serve as a role model/mentor/coach to new and tenured representatives
  • 50% travel required in the field and in Bridgewater, NJ office
  • Demonstration of sustained, high performance in current position and a strong aptitude for sales training
  • Demonstration of high emotional intelligence

 

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $115k - $150k.
