Objective
- Lead strategic and tactical procurement activities for sourcing of Korea Indirect categories including but not limited to Commercial/Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Facilities and General Services necessary to support corporate functions and business needs
- Provide purchasing expertise and support, promote purchasing guidelines and exchange of best practices.
- Improve business efficiency and deliver saving while keeping compliance monitoring
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization
- Deliver annual savings targets for Spend in scope (One time and P&L)
- Vendor Qualification & Vendor Management
- Cultivate relationships with internal business partners and execute supplier relationship management to ensure operational success
- Manage the preferred suppliers on strategic Level
- Procurement Governance & Compliance
- Represent Procurement for the Country acting as Business Partner for Commercial Teams
- Perform Spend Analysis and baseline analysis to effectively communicate data to internal customers and upper management
- Receive vendor escalations and appropriately resolve disputes as needed
- Tender & Bidding Management
- Lead RFPs, RFIs, and direct negotiations for goods, services, and technology
- Ensure objective and well-documented vendor selection processes, and Maintain procurement documentation and bidding records
- Support transparent and compliant procurement decision-making
- Review single-source justifications and procurement exceptions
- Vendor Risk Monitoring & Ethical Procurement
- Monitor for potential conflicts of interest or inappropriate vendor relationships
- Identify unusual purchasing patterns, pricing irregularities, or process circumvention risks
- Support ethical procurement practices and reinforce procurement integrity
- Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and leadership on procurement-related risk mitigation
- Procurement Process Improvement
- Work with team to implement local Procurement policy and deliver necessary training and update
- Lead the contract redlining process to ensure a project moves from ideas to fully executed contract and purchase order
Requirements
- Bachelor and above
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in multinational healthcare/FMCG Company’s procurement organization, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or procurement operations
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Understanding of indirect procurement and experienced in
- best practices purchasing tools and techniques
- Analytical, persuasion and creative abilities / teamwork
- Excellent communication skills within all levels of organization and suppliers
