The Senior Director/Executive Director, Global Security will be responsible for developing and managing the Company’s security program, capable of identifying, controlling, and mitigating all current and potential security risks. The incumbent will coordinate program activities and establish best practices across global markets to create harmonization and common methodologies to protect our associates, facility assets, and products. You will review and consult on new operational practices worldwide with the goal of maintaining the security and safety of our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor risks related to the security of Bausch Health and the impact to operations in all markets.
- Develop appropriate programs to mitigate security risks and maintain regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Partner with legal, HR and compliance to lead incident investigations.
- Establish and develop relationships with external agencies and law enforcement bodies.
- Identify and deploy new technology and capabilities to monitor and report on security threats.
- Responsible for the development of strategic programs & processes, cross functional relationship with peers and stakeholders, and support of all global security requirements.
- Manage partner/vendor relationships
- Partner with senior leaders and oversee employee high risk travel
- Partner with internal stakeholders/partners to achieve objectives, develop new programs and leverage resources for program and service delivery
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing core physical security programs, including creation of policies, standards, guidelines, processes, procedures, plans and tactical deployment of security technologies.
- May assist with investigations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Criminal Justice or Security preferred
- Minimum 12 + years’ experience and demonstrated success in positions of increasing responsibility within Security or Protection Services and experience in a significant leadership role required, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Corporate security experience required
- Global experience including international security operations in key markets, notably APAC, LATAM, and Europe
- Demonstrated knowledge of security best practices. - Demonstrated track record of partnering with business to consult / advise on key aspects of security, including physical, personnel, and supply chain
- Ability to develop working knowledge of all areas of the organization and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the company’s key functional processes and resources
- The ability to analyze processes and problems and recommend resolutions. - Interpersonal skills to influence a broad and diverse group of global stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to assess risk and make business-focused recommendations
- Demonstrated strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations
- Industry certifications are preferred
- Security clearance preferred
The range of starting base pay for this role is 215K – 321K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
