PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

FP&A

  • Support annual budget planning, quarterly forecasts, quarterly business reviews (QBR), and weekly Latest Estimate (LE) processes.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including sales performance, P&L analysis, expense reviews.
  • Conduct price volume analysis based on actuals, plan and forecast sales data.
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to improve forecast accuracy.

 

Accounting & Tax

  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities – review of accruals, Balance Sheet reconciliation, lease accounting, journal adjustments etc.
  • Prepare closing journal entries related to sales rebate and inventory adjustments.
  • Liaise and communicate with an outsourced Finance service provider relating to accounting transactions and VAT reporting.
  • Assist with internal audit and external audit requirements.

 

Systems, Process, and Compliance 

  • Be the local trainer and key user of ERP procurement module, Concur system and T&E policy.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments.

 

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of accounting and/ or Financial Planning experience (Medical device, FMCG or related multinational companies experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines
  • Meticulous, detail oriented and proactive
  • Good computer literacy in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial System and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP application) will be an advantage
