Responsibilities:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the daily supervision of one geographical region, including coaching for improved performance and monitoring the sales activity within the region. The RM will be accountable for a group of Sales Representative who make product presentations to achieve product awareness, educate the market and generate prescriptions. Essential responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide leadership and direction while meeting sales goals and managing the sales activities and development of sales representatives. 
  • Develop, implement and maintain region business plan to meet Regional and Company goals. 
  • Implement company policy procedures and managerial controls. 
  • Recruit and select qualified candidates to fill open sales positions within the Region.   
  • Assume accountability and responsibility for own personal career growth and development. 
  • Meet sales goals and objectives. 
  • Coach, counsel, and develop sales representatives. 
  • Be a leader and manager – creating long and short-term development objectives.
  • Evaluate the activities and effectiveness of sales representatives on a consistent basis.
  • Coordinate administrative demands and field day objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • At least three years of successful field sales experience or equivalent.
  • At least two years of supervisory/training experience preferred.

 

The District Manager position requires a great deal of enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to work in the field with representatives as needed while maintaining all administrative functions. This highly operational position requires systematic planning and organization skills. Extensive overnight travel may be required, typically around 50% of the time. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Must possess a valid state drivers’ license.
