 Focus: COGS & Supply Chain, Cost Management & Intercompany Processing


The ideal candidate for this position will be an integral member of the Manufacturing FP&A group and is responsible for month end close transactions, preparation of account reconciliations and analysis and review of financial information related to cost of goods sold and inventory.  This position also provides financial and accounting support to the Global Supply Chain Operations and the Financial and Reporting Team.


In addition, this position will be primarily responsible for supporting the cost management module, transactional product hierarchy, intercompany processes, and inventory accounting reconciliation, within the global ERP.  The position will support design and upgrade functionality activities, product testing, provide production support and support business process change strategies. This position will work closely with the Global Process Owners as well as subject matter experts for specified processes as grouped by the ERP modules.  Support person ensures key business operations are addressed by the delivered ERP system and significant gaps are acknowledged through customization or work around procedures. 


This is a hybrid role with three days in office in our Bridgewater, NJ HQ. 




COGS & Supply Chain 

  • Analyze COGS, margins, purchase price and production variances
  • Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations monthly
  • Analyze inventory reserves and calculate projected obsolescence based on historical trend
  • Record monthly adjusting entries and accruals
  • Prepare and analyze standard monthly management reports
  • Assist with compiling annual standard costs
  • Responsible for planning and forecasting for US Supply Chain Operations and US Warehouse Distribution as well as coordination with the international teams
  • Provide analytical, accounting and reporting support to the Global Supply Chain Operations and US Warehouse Distribution, including monthly fluctuation explanations of actuals vs. plan/forecast
  • Monthly review of global obsolescence and variance analysis 
  • Monthly review of global months on hand and variance analysis and generating reports through Alteryx and Tableau
  • Monthly capital & expense project variance analysis
  • Liaise with auditors relating to quarterly and annual audit inquires and SOX reviews


Cost Management & Intercompany Processing

  • Subject matter expertise

  • Conducts User Groups/Open Forums and/or provide one-on-one support to customers as required
  • Standard Operating Procedures maintenance
  • Upgrade efforts
  • Testing and Testing Plan:  1) Support test plans and detailed test scripts for the Costing module changes and regression testing for impacts from other modules and legacy systems or infrastructure changes 2) Support testing (i.e., Shakedown, Critical Functionality, Unit, Integration, Systems), etc.
  • Production Change Management - proposing the most cost-effective way to address issues, searching for non-customized ways (some system, many process) to address items.  Also includes prioritization of requests and proactive identification of functionality.
  • Assessing impacts on other modules and systems and coordinating with Global Process Owners for communication to those impacted groups
  • Upholding and ensuring that the module(s) adhere to Bausch Health standards for quality, documentation, security, etc.  


The Global Process Support/Owner person partners with subject matter experts within the businesses to accomplish key initiatives through the ERP system.



  • Responsible for all SOX compliance related to the above duties
  • Assist in month end reporting including account reconciliations, JE organization, and compilation and analysis of reporting package
  • Assist in quarterly and annual financial and SOX audits
  • Assist the Consolidation group during quarter end close



  • 3+ years' experience in an Accounting and/or Finance role mandatory
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance mandatory
  • Experience with ERP Accounting software, preferably in a Manufacturing & Distribution environment
  • Advanced e4xperience with Excel spreadsheet functions and formulas to build and maintain reports used for budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience in inventory & product cost management experience preferred 
  • Prior inventory, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Hyperion preferred
  • Purchasing and Accounts Payable experience 
  • Must be able to sustain a strong working relationship with members of management and senior management, process owners, user community, IT Support, staff, and third-party vendors
  • Willing to commit to longer hours of work during the month end/quarter end close as well as during budget/forecast
  • Purchasing and Accounts Payable experience
