Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Manager of HR Technology and Operations is responsible for executing tactical and strategic initiatives to ensure the effective operation of our integrated HR systems, such as SuccessFactors. This role entails guiding daily support, hands-on configuration and issue resolution. 

The Manager is responsible for comprehensive project management for Release Management, implementations and enhancements, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.  

 

As a problem solver, you will assist with identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, while partnering with HR, IT, and vendors to support growth and scalability. Additionally, you will enhance the employee and manager experience by leveraging your expertise in functional areas, providing innovative recommendations to our stakeholders and COEs, and challenging the status quo.

 

The Manager of HR Technology and Operations will be responsible for but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute initiatives which support the transformation of the Bausch Health HRIS landscape. Understand the current business processes, future state goals, and system functionality to identify scalable solutions to enhance team productivity and operational processes, tools and services.
  • Gather requirements, Impact analysis, system configuration, testing and deployment of functionality changes.
  • Offer application support across various integrated areas, addresses integration issues, and manages system updates.
  • Perform the end-to-end administration, design, configuration and support of SuccessFactors.
  • Assess business processes for continuous improvement, process mapping, and providing solution recommendations.
  • Translate functional plans to integrate Robotics and AI functionality into operational processes to ensure technology changes are effectively adopted and utilized.
  • Maintenance of data management fields, foundation data, position management, business rules, picklists, calculated fields, security permissions and translations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Utilize Project management skills to collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, research system functionality, recommend and develop proof of concept solutions, configure changes, develop testing and execution plans and reporting needs.
  • Participate in the testing and execution of SuccessFactors Release Management and other HR systems releases.
  • Create and update user and training materials (QRGs, FAQs, videos) for distribution to global HR colleagues.
  • Manage and prioritize assigned case and issue resolution on internal and vendor tickets
  • Actively partners with 3rd party vendor resources to achieve established goals and operational priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes to ensure that solutions and technical work encompasses end-to-end processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Information systems, computer science discipline highly preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years working with HR related technologies as a functional/ technical expert with configuration and maintenance experience
  • Proven expertise in Core HR Operations and Processes, encompassing Core HR, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation and Reporting/Analytics
  • Certifications in one or more SAP SuccessFactors modules (Talent Acquisition, Onboarding 2.0, Employee Central, Performance Management, Compensation and Workforce Analytics) or equivalent experience required
  • Strong technical knowledge of SuccessFactors, Cloud integration and Integration Center preferred
  • Extensive experience in HR Operational excellence and Service Delivery
  • Proficiency in project management methodology and principles with practical application experience
  • Proven ability to recognize the significance of details and ensure timely deliverables
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical abilities with a strong focus on consultative and client service
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and work within a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and work ethic
  • A collaborative team member who is willing to jump in and help, with the ability to build trust and foster relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and project management tools
