Description:      

The Manufacturing II is responsible for the following tasks and duties :

 

  • Applies Job skills, GMP's and Solta's company polices and work instructions to perform routine work related to the production of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Able to perform and verify line clearance in each workstation as required, verification of the accuracy and completeness of the job/label print traveler.
  • Work in a fast paced, repetitive wiring and electrical component assembly tasks of precision assemblies.  
  • Repetitive and electro-mechanical assembly of precision components and assemblies.  
  • Assembly tasks may entail the use of a variety of adhesives.
  • Tasks may require use of Electrostatic Dissipation devices (straps).
  • Tasks require careful handling techniques to prevent damage to product.  
  • Some of these tasks require the use of a microscope.
  • Electrical programming and testing operations utilizing various test fixtures and results, yield information and other data as required onto Solta traveler documents of other data collection devices.
  • Recording of lot control, inspection results, test results, yield information and other data as required onto Solta traveler documents of other data collection devices.
  • Duties also may involve keyboard data entry.  
  • Close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant check on work performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Plastics assembly with UV curing adhesives.  
  • Crossed trained in at least five processes.   
  • Basic understanding of Lean tools

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.  
  • Minimum 2 years assembly experience in electro-mechanical or high volume manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working in an ESD environment preferred
  • Experience working within a rigorous, quality control environment such as FDA cGMP/QSR or ISO preferred. 
  • Experience working with a microscope required
  • Must be detail-oriented with good record keeping in accordance with FDA manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Solta Medical's SOP.
  • Should be able to recognize deviations from accepted practice and quality standards and make recommendations to correct them is expected.
  • Good communication skills written and verbal to understand company procedures and policies. 
  • Good math skills, plus ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.  
  • The role may require the need to lift 35 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to and sometimes beyond 8 hours a day.  
  • The role would require someone to see things closely and use a microscope.

 

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
