The Production Technician is responsible for: 
 

•    Maintaining adherence to production, test, and quality system procedures.  Retrieving procedures from corporate database.
•    Able to perform and verify line clearance in each workstation as required.
•    Operation of a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, curing fixtures and equipment.
•    Utilizes both manual and automated tests to perform board, and system level testing to ensure product quality and reliability in accordance with company requirements.
•    System and sub-assembly testing, diagnose issues to assembly level, and meet all testing and performance specifications and quality requirements.
•    Integrates, tests, and troubleshoots LASER/RF medical electro/mechanical system/handpiece devices.
•    Performs rework and repair with strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
•    Installs and configures component and system software.
•    Meets established production goals.
•    Follows all relevant regulations, SOPs, and work Instructions.
•    Dedicated to quality and continuous improvement.
•    Thorough understanding of GMP practices; accurate record keeping regarding area of responsibility. 
•    Works closely with Assemblers, Manufacturing Engineers, and R&D Engineers in defining and documenting test procedures.
•    Supports and participates in committing an audit ready and safety production environment.
•    Acts as primary test and troubleshooting trainer for production direct labor.

•    Ability to read, interpret and follow company procedures, work instructions and engineering drawings and sketches, and identify problems and deviations from prescribed specifications and

   

Qualifications:

•    High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

•    Minimum 4 years testing and troubleshooting analog and digital electronics at the component, PCB, and system level required.

•    Experience working within a rigorous, quality control environment such as FDA, cGMP/QSR or ISO required.

•    Experience training others ideal.

•    Proficient in English required

•    Experience working in an ESD type environment required.


As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $26 - $30 an hour with a $2.00 shift differential.
