The Senior Manager, FP&A will manage the financial activities for the Solta Medical manufacturing site located in Bothell, WA. You will be responsible for coordinating monthly closings and financial reporting, managing the budget preparation process from schedule planning to final presentation, overseeing the standard costing process, ensuring the proper financial controls are in place, driving improvements in our financial systems, training and developing skills of other finance personnel, and partnering with others at the site to evaluate business decisions and insure financial objectives are met.



  • Coordinate monthly closings ensuring correct results with minimal adjustments
  • Generate general ledger entries
  • Prepare and oversee monthly financial and management reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations (inventory, liabilities)
  • Prepare additional analysis as required to explain and summarize financial activity.
  • Manage the budget preparation process from schedule planning to the final presentation
  • Work with others at the site to assign roles and responsibilities
  • Manage the standard cost development process in ERPLx and make improvements to the budget system and procedures whenever possible
  • Provide cost information for updating PeopleSoft and Share Point
  • Provide governance for physical inventory
  • Support external audits as needed
  • Ensure that proper financial controls exist in Inventory, Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, and Requisition to Payment
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed in compliance with the Code of Ethics
  • Partner with others at the Bothell site to evaluate business decisions and to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Drive and support efforts to reduce costs and increase efficiencies
  • Assist co-workers with day-to day activities as it relates to financial transactions and outcomes
  • Make enhancements to financial systems as business needs change to support our internal customers
  • Provide support as required for system implementations and upgrades


Skills Required:

  • 5+ years work experience in aan FP&A, accounting, or finance related function 
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
  • ERPLx, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Dynamics or similar software systems necessary
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical proficiency
  • Possess the ability to understand and correlate complex business issues into simple cause and effect explanations
  • Excellent formal and informal written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to be held accountable for producing accurate information and to perform tasks by the highest ethical standards
  • Expert command of standard MS Office Applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
