A Service Technician II at Solta Medical plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing sophisticated medical technology.

 

Here are the key responsibilities for this position:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and documentation of systems and accessories returned for service.
  • Board level troubleshooting of System and Handpiece repairs.
  • Accurately document all service activities and generate service reports.
  • Adhere to all Solta and GMP regulated procedures and processes.

 

Experience, Education, Training, Traits:

  • Minimum 2 year degree in electronics, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of service or engineering experience preferably in a medical device, quality regulated environment.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot basic electronic schematics and circuits.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
  • Ability to assemble tools or products with minimal documentation.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with Test Computers, oscilloscopes, DVM, calipers and hand tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and investigate the root cause of problems.
  • Good English skills with effective verbal, writing and reading abilities.
  • Organized and dependable.
  • Experienced working in an ESD type environment.
  • Candidate should be a strong team player with the demonstrated abilities and willingness to wear “multiple hats” and perform a wide range of tasks within a dynamic environment.
  • Acts as a mentor to level 1 Service Technicians.

 

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $23 to $32 per hour.
